Immediately after completing her training, Karin Heym soon made contact with the stage and television. For many years she worked at the theater in Kassel, later also small stages a. a. in Munich. Heym has been in front of the camera since she was 20, beginning in 1963 with the female lead in the stage play adaptation "Die Party".
