Karin Praxmarer
Karin Praxmarer (* 9 July 1944 in Zwettl as Karin Kusatz ) is a former Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and AHS teacher. Praxmarer was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1986 to 1996 and 1999 .
Praxmarer was born as the daughter of Hans and Gertrude Kusatz and had two siblings. She attended elementary school in Wels- Lichtenegg from 1950 to 1954 and then moved to the Bundesrealgymnasium in Wels, where she graduated in 1962. After graduating from high school, she studied history and social studies as well as physical exercise at the University of Vienna . In 1968 she completed her studies with the academic degree Mag. Phil. from. Praxmarer worked from 1968 to 1986 as a professor at the Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium Grieskirchen and, after her first entry into the National Council, was a professor at the Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium Ried im Innkreis from 1996 to 1999 . In 1965 Karin Kusatz married the later President of the Ried District Court, with whom she has three children.
Praxmarer represented the FPÖ from 1985 in the municipal council of Grieskirchen and from 1975 she was the regional women's officer of the FPÖ Upper Austria. From 1982 to 1994 she also held the office of regional party chairwoman of the FPÖ Upper Austria. Praxmarer represented the FPÖ from December 17, 1986 to January 14, 1996 in the National Council and was again a member of the National Council from May 6, 1999 to October 28, 1999. Praxmarer was education spokeswoman for the FPÖ parliamentary club.
