Karin Schulze
Karin Schulze (née Rüger; born April 1, 1944 in Wernigerode ) is a former German high jumper who competed for the GDR .
In 1964 she was ninth at the Olympic Games in Tokyo , in 1965 second in the European Athletics Cup in Kassel , in 1968 seventh in the Olympic Games in Mexico City and in 1969 fifth in the European Athletics Championships in Athens .
In 1964 and 1971 she was GDR hall champion . She set her personal best of 1.83 m on June 1, 1968 in Sofia .
Karin Schulze is married to the high jumper Thomas Schulze . Her daughter Sabina Schulze was successful as a swimmer.
