Karkın is a municipality in Turkey . It is located in the south of the Aksaray province in the Aksaray district at the foot of Hasan Dağı .

Karkın was founded in 1919, when many people from the Caucasus region and Adana moved to the community. The place is known for its thermal springs and therefore also attracts tourists to the place. Since 1999, Karkın has been a municipality with around 2000 inhabitants.

Mayor is Onur Keser ( MHP ).
