Karl's Stein is a rocky outcrop in the Fischau foothills in the municipality of Bad Fischau-Brunn (Lower Austria). It is marked by an iron cross that is illuminated at night.

Geography and geology

Karl's Stein is located in southern Lower Austria , around fifty kilometers from Vienna . In the Fischau foothills , located on the edge of the Vienna basin , the heavily reliefed elevation zones consist mainly of Hallstatt limestone . History and origin of name
