Karl-Adolf Deubler (born February 26, 1888 in Lienzingen ; † March 7, 1961 ) was a German lawyer and from 1923 to 1931 president of the VfB Stuttgart sports club .

Life

Deubler graduated from high school in Stuttgart in 1906. Subsequently, he began studying law at the University of Tübingen and later at the University of Leipzig . In Tübingen he was active with the student union Landsmannschaft Scottland , in Leipzig with the Landsmannschaft Afrania . After completing his studies and military service, Deubler worked as a lawyer and syndic .

VfB Stuttgart

Deubler had been a member of VfB Stuttgart since 1903 . He was particularly active in rugby , tennis and hockey . From 1923 to 1931 Deubler was first chairman of the VfB. During his term of office, the groundbreaking engagement of coach Tom Hanney and the first Württemberg-Baden championship of the club fell.
