Karl-Ferdinand Reuss

Karl-Ferdinand Reuss , also Carl-Ferdinand Reuss , (born October 1, 1907 in Berlin , † July 1, 1973 in Graefelfing ) was a German lawyer .

family

On his father's side Reuss came from Franconia , his father was a ministerial director in the Reich Ministry of Transport. Reuss mother Clare, née Partsch, came from Silesia; her father was the founder of oral surgery, Carl Partsch .

Life

Reuss attended school in Berlin-Steglitz and graduated from high school there in 1927. He then studied law in Breslau and Berlin. During his studies he became a member of the Corps Silesia Breslau and Normannia Berlin . In 1931 he passed the trainee examination and in 1936 the assessor examination. In between he received his doctorate in 1931. iur. During the Second World War, Reuss was initially a coastal reconnaissance pilot and then a first lieutenant on the staff of the military economic office. From 1947 until his death he was a lawyer in Munich.

Services

Reuss was particularly fond of aviation law. Here he was editor of the yearbook for aerospace, which developed into the standard work. He was also Vice President of the German Aero Club . In addition, he was a founding member of the Goethe Institute and founding legal advisor of the Central Association of Physiotherapy .
