Karl-Friedrich Haag

Karl-Friedrich Haag (* 1942 in Dinkelsbühl ) is a German Protestant theologian . From 1982 to 2008 he was head of the grammar school pedagogical material center (GPM) in Erlangen .

Professional development

Karl-Friedrich Haag studied Protestant theology in Erlangen , Mainz and Zurich . In 1966 he passed the entrance examination to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria . At the Institute of Systematic Theology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, he was from 1968 to 1972 Assistant Professor Wilfried Joest . Since September 1972 he has been working as a full-time religion teacher at the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium in Erlangen . 1977 began his official work at the secondary school pedagogical material office.

In August 1982 he became head of the GPM. Karl-Friedrich Haag wrote numerous theological, above all ethical and religious educational works. For his publications in the field of religious education , anthropology and ethics , he was awarded an honorary doctorate on July 4, 2002 by the theological faculty of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg .
