Karl-Heinrich Landwehr

Karl-Heinrich Landwehr (born August 14, 1935 in Heeren-Werve ; on or before October 16, 2019) was a German administrative lawyer.

Career

Landwehr studied law at the University of Münster . To finance his studies, he also worked as a miner in the Königsborn colliery . In 1967 he came as a young public prosecutor to the central office in North Rhine-Westphalia for the processing of Nazi mass crimes at the Dortmund public prosecutor's office.

In 1969 he joined the SPD , became deputy chairman of the SPD sub-district of Hamm , and later district chairman. In 1975 he moved into the district council of the newly formed Unna district . He was first elected district law director and in 1976 senior district director. He remained in this position until the dual leadership in North Rhine-Westphalia was abolished in 1999.
