FC Lok (0-0) on August 24, 1974 as a center forward. On the 11th and 12th matchday he had two other short appearances. In November 1975 he was drafted into the army for 18 months. In the summer of 1979 he was given up to the GDR league club BSG activist Espenhain . Herrmann played there until the end of the GDR league season 1980/81, then returned to 1. This encounter on March 20, 1982 (Forward Frankfurt - 1. FC Lok 1: 1) was also Herrmann's last competitive game for the 1st team of 1. FC Lok Leipzig. In five league seasons he had made 25 appearances and scored four goals. There were also five national cup games and the European Cup game, each without scoring.
