Karl-Heinz Joseph

Karl-Heinz Joseph (born September 14, 1954 in Kaiserslautern ; † May 6, 2007 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1974 at the humanistic grammar school in Kaiserslautern, Joseph studied law and political science at the University of Würzburg . After his second state examination in 1986, he worked as a lawyer in Miltenberg until 1991 . On May 6, 2007, he died of a heart attack. Karl-Heinz Joseph was married and had one child.

politics

From 1978 to 1991 Joseph was chairman of the SPD Walldürn . In 1980 he was elected to the Walldürner municipal council (until 1991) and in 1984 to the district council of the Neckar-Odenwald district . 1989–2005 he was a member of the association assembly of the Rhine-Neckar-Odenwald region . Joseph was mayor of Walldürn since 1991. In 2006 he was also elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , where he represented constituency 38 (Neckar-Odenwald) with a second mandate . The city of Walldürn named a newly created square in front of the train station after him in 2008.
