Karl-Heinz Saretzki
Karl-Heinz Saretzki (born July 13, 1942 in Bielefeld ; † June 1, 2019 in Bochum ) was a German trombone choir director and editor .
Saretzki studied church music at what is now the College for Church Music of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia in Herford . After graduating, he worked as a church musician and deacon . In 1972 he was appointed trombone attendant of the trombone work of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia. In 2000 he was appointed church music director . He was the editor of the magazine Magazin Posaunenchor and editor of numerous literature for trombone choirs. On June 16, 2007, he was said goodbye to retirement in a festive service in the Reinoldikirche in Dortmund. For his many years of service he was honored with the bronze cross of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia.
Karl-Heinz Saretzki was the twin brother of the singing teacher Hans-Dieter Saretzki .
