Karl-Heinz Schnepel

Karl-Heinz Schnepel (born April 15, 1932 in Obernbeck ; † January 3, 2008 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed a molding apprenticeship . From 1949 to 1980 he worked in various foundries .

Schnepel had been a member of the SPD since 1961. He was active in various party bodies. From 1974 to 1984 he was deputy mayor in wages . Since 1946 he was a member of the metal industry union and the workers' welfare . Schnepel was married and had three children.

From May 29, 1980 to May 31, 1995 Schnepel was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 109 Herford II.

He was a member of the municipal council of the city of Löhne from 1969 to 1984. From 1969 to 1972 Schnepel was a member of the Herford District Council .
