Karl-Heinz Seiffert
Karl-Heinz Seiffert (born March 17, 1945 in Berlin ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Court of Justice .
Life
Seiffert began his legal career after studying and legal clerkship in Baden-Württemberg as a probationary judge at the Stuttgart Regional Court in a civil chamber. He then worked as a judge at the Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt District Court , before being appointed civil servant for life as a public prosecutor in 1976 . In 1979 he became a judge at the Stuttgart Regional Court. 1984-1986 Seiffert was a research assistant at the Federal Court seconded . This was followed by a six-month secondment to the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court . In 1988 he became a judge at the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court, where he was a member of a senate dealing with insurance law. In 1995 he became a judge at the Federal Court of Justice and was a member of the IV Civil Senate , which was concerned with insurance law . For nine years he was Deputy Chairman of the 4th Senate at the Federal Court of Justice, from 1997 to 2003 a member of the Senate for Notary Matters, from 2001 to 2010 a member of the Presidium of the Federal Court of Justice and two and a half years as a non-permanent assessor at the Federal Service Court . On March 31, 2010, Karl-Heinz Seiffert retired.
