Karl-Heinz Thomas (actor)
Karl-Heinz Thomas (born February 15, 1937 in Hanover ) is a German stage, film and television actor .
Live and act
Thomas received training as a singer and actor. He started his artistic career in 1959 as bass buffo in the Münster choir. The Hanoverian then worked as a freelance artist on various Munich theaters. Thomas also worked for the radio and did dubbing. From 1965 onwards, numerous television offers were added for a good two decades. Most of his roles there were very small.
In the 1970s Thomas was also seen in the cinema - both in ambitious filmmaker products such as Erwin Keusch's Das Brot des Bäckers and Alexander Kluge's Der stark Ferdinand as well as in soft sex films like Rosemary Schleckerland and Kasimir, the cuckoo glue . Karl-Heinz Thomas is best remembered with his small, permanent role as a police doctor in various early episodes of the ZDF crime series Der Alte and Derrick , which he took over from 1977 to 1983 and 1986, respectively.
