Karl-Heinz Weißenfels (born November 11, 1939 in Essen ; † March 26, 2020 there ) was a teacher at the Maria-Wächtler Gymnasium and gained fame as a hall speaker at TUSEM Essen and as a supervisor for the DHB .

Life

Karl-Heinz Weißenfels attended elementary school at the Wittenburg School. He later married his wife Christa. Until 2004 Weißenfels taught German and sport at the Maria-Wächtler Gymnasium in Essen-Rüttenscheid . Until his retirement he coordinated the school handball championships. After his retirement he continued to be very active at his old school and coordinated the construction of the new sports field. In addition to leading a literature course, he also did editing and editing work. In addition, Karl-Heinz Weißenfels was hall speaker in the Grugahalle at TUSEM Essen for over 25 years . He also made the announcements at the fencing and judo world championships and at tennis tournaments such as the Davis Cup with Boris Becker . He also looked after the DHB opponents at home games until his death.
