Karl-Horst Bichler

Karl-Horst Bichler (born November 20, 1933 in Amberg ) is a German doctor and author of historical writings.

Life

Bichler studied and did his doctorate at the University of Münster , was an assistant doctor at various city clinics and institutes and at the Hannover Medical School . This was followed by specialist training in urology , habilitation and professorship at the Urological University Clinic Marburg from 1967 to 1975.

In 1975 he was appointed professor to the professorship for urology at the University of Tübingen . Until his retirement in 2002 he was medical director of the Urological University Clinic in Tübingen.

He published scientific works on urinary calculus, academic learning didactics, and medical liability as well as military medical and historical studies and books on the Napoleonic Wars in Germany and the Prussian-Austrian War in 1866, as well as on the activities of the Hanoverian General Staff Doctor Louis Stromeyer in the Middle Wars 19th century. He gave lectures on historical topics.
