Karl Albrecht II. Philipp Ludwig Franz de Paula zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst (born February 21, 1742 in Schillingsfürst ; † June 14, 1796 ibid) was a member of the House of Hohenlohe and kk major general. He held the title of prince from 1793.

Life

Karl Albrecht II. Was the son of Prince Karl Albrecht I (1719–1793) and wife Sophia Wilhelmine Marie zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort (1721–1749), the daughter of Prince Dominik Marquard zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort (1690– 1738).

As a colonel under Empress Maria Theresa in Hungary , he had the lady-in-waiting Princess Judith nee. Baroness von Reviczky met Beothy. Because of an 'improper marriage' with the widowed Hungarian, Karl Albrecht II fell out with his father, Prince Karl Albrecht I. In 1776, three years after the wedding, the young family arrived in Kupferzell and was not allowed to live in Waldenburg. The secondary castle in Kupferzell was assigned to them as their place of residence.

On May 19, 1761, he married Princess Leopoldine zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort (1739–1765), the daughter of Prince Karl Thomas zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort (1714–1789). The couple had two children:

  • Franz (1762–1762)
  • Child (born June 2, 1765)

He married Freiin Judith Reviczky von Revisnye (1753-1836) on August 15, 1773. The couple had thirteen children:
