Karl August Dietzel

Karl August Dietzel (born January 7, 1829 in Hanau , † August 3, 1884 in Marburg ) was a political economist .

Dietzel initially devoted himself to business life, from 1850 to studying political science. From 1856 he was a private lecturer in Heidelberg , from 1859 in Bonn . In 1863 he became an associate professor in Heidelberg and in 1867 a full professor in Marburg, where he died in 1884.
