Karl August Ferdinand Fuchs

Karl August Ferdinand Fuchs (born August 10, 1797 in Altenburg , † March 31, 1832 in Dienstädt ) was a German pastor and writer .

Life

Born the son of a master tailor, Fuchs studied Protestant theology in Jena after attending grammar school in Altenburg . During his studies in 1816 he became a member of the original fraternity . In 1819 he passed his exams pro candidatura in Altenburg, where he was ordained in 1825 . In 1826 he became pastor in Dienstädt. There he died at the age of 34.

At a young age, Fuchs wrote three plays that appeared in print. He was 15 years old when the first performed in December 1812.
