Stefan Lenglinger

Stefan Lenglinger (* 1993 in Vienna ) is an Austrian television presenter and editor.

Life

Stefan Lenglinger was born in Vienna in 1993 as the son of an Austrian father and a mother from Ghana . In addition to German , he grew up with English as his second mother tongue. After successfully completing school, he began studying journalism & media management at the FHWien in 2012 and, after completing his bachelor's degree, a master’s degree in international development at the University of Vienna . Parallel to his studies, he was earning money as a model and was featured in a TV commercial for Kastner & Öhler , among other things . After a four-month internship for the program Bürgeranwalt in the Austrian broadcasting company , he joined the ORF editorial team as a freelancer shortly afterwards. In 2016 he was part of the ORF summer talks team and reported for the program in the report . He also worked in the ORF's correspondent office in the USA in the capital Washington, DC . With the retirement of Lakis Iordanopoulos , Lenglinger succeeded him in April 2018 and on April 22, 2018 presented Heimat, a foreign home for the first time ; subsequently alternating with Silvana Meixner . After a year as a presenter of the program, he was presented in March 2019 as the presenter of the new program Magazin 1 , which he was to moderate from now on alternately with Lisa Gadenstätter .

In his free time, the journalist, who lives in Vienna, is a hobby football player. In autumn 2006 he started his club career at SV Gerasdorf / Stammersdorf and moved to FC Kapellerfeld in spring 2008 . From there he was in the summer of 2013. DSG Schrotterl (diocesan sports community) and changed from that in summer 2018 the DSG DSV Eventus Vienna with gaming operations in the DSG 1st class C .

Honors

At the first Black Austrian Awards , which were presented for the first time in 2018, Lenglinger received the award in the media category .
