Karl Bründel

Karl Ulrich Johannes August Otto Bründel (born June 9, 1893 in Rostock , † October 16, 1971 in Lübeck ) was a German lawyer and notary as well as a politician.

Life

From 1912 Karl Bründel studied law at the Universities of Rostock, Munich and Berlin. He finished his studies at the University of Rostock . After graduating as Dr. jur. 1919 in Würzburg with his dissertation The development of the Lübeck shipping company since the beginning of the 19th century he joined the law firm of Martin Meyer (1878–1966) and Leopold Jacobson and became a lawyer and notary in Lübeck. In 1929 Bründel was elected to the Lübeck citizenship as a state parliament and belonged to it until 1933. From 1945/1946 he belonged to the citizens of Lübeck appointed by the British military government . As a member of the CDU , he was a member of the elected parliament from 1946 to 1951. As an honorary senator, he was a member of the Senate of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck from 1946 to 1950 and was temporarily the city's first deputy mayor.
