John Brock Parker (born August 15, 1981 ) is a professional American poker player . He is three-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Personal

Parker is from Silver Spring and still lives there today. He played the trading card game Magic: The Gathering and got into poker from there .

Poker career

Career

Parker played online from February 2006 to April 2017 under the nicknames t soprano ( PokerStars ) , bobcards2 ( Full Tilt Poker ) , PogFanatic ( partypoker ) and Maria Nuccia ( UltimateBet ) . Its online poker tournament earnings are just under 2.5 million US dollars . In 2007 he was temporarily in third place in the Pocket Fives ranking, which lists the most successful online poker tournament players worldwide. Parker has been participating in prestigious live tournaments since 2002. He taught his friend Justin Bonomo how to play poker in 2006 . Bonomo is the most successful poker player today by tournament prize money .

In May 2004 , Parker was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and was able to place twice in the money. At the 2009 WSOP , he won two tournaments within four days, which earned him two bracelets and almost $ 900,000 in prize money. In mid-November 2012, Parker prevailed at the Borgata Fall Poker Open in Atlantic City and received a prize of more than $ 370,000. In early June 2014, he won at the WSOP in 2014 , a tournament variant Limit Omaha Hi / Lo and thus secured his third bracelet and the top prize of nearly 450,000 US dollars.
