founding 1990

In 1990, Orgasm of Death was another album under the name of the band, but it was recorded exclusively by studio musicians and had nothing to do with the original band. Metal Enterprises owned the rights to the first album and practiced this practice with the band Thrash Queen . Since Killer Fox and Thrash Queen both broke up in the late 1990s, the idea of both bands to produce two more albums came up. Studio musicians were hired to imitate the style, the original line-up is unknown.

Music style and reception

Thrash Queen, along with Killer Fox, are considered one of the worst metal bands of all time and cemented Metal Enterprise status as one of the worst metal labels. In fact, after producing several Böhse Onkelz albums, the record company tried to build a reputation as a right-wing rock label. Philipp Roser vom Crash noted in his review of Going Under that the band is just a cheap Kiss copy. The singing is unspeakable and annoying and one can hardly speak of music when it comes to the songs. In the purely instrumental passages, "[the] headbanger skull [...] definitely shakes". Götz Kühnemund from Metal Hammer also reviewed the album and described it as superfluous garbage. In addition, it is annoying because the album had already been released in the USA under a different name with a different cover and already received only negative reviews. He thought the cover was ridiculous, which meant that the band couldn't be taken seriously either. The music is poorly produced "garage thrash". Martin Groß from the same magazine also found the music annoying in his review of Orgasm Of Death . Here, too, one could not take the group seriously and provide for involuntary comedy. The band is “stupid”, consists of “wigs” and plays “mud metal”. Holger Stratmann, rock hard publisher, declared the album the "ass bomb of the month". The songs are convulsively trimmed to be demonic or annoying “eunuch metal pieces”, also accompanied by a “bad drum computer”.
