Karl Christoph Stauber , also Karl Christian Stauber (born October 9, 1814 in Hof (Saale) , † August 2, 1860 in Schweinfurt ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a subordinate , Stauber studied philosophy and theology after attending grammar school in Hof , then law in Erlangen . During his studies in 1834 he became a member of the Bubenreuther fraternity . He was promoted to Dr. iur. doctorate and then from 1846 worked as a lawyer in Schweinfurt, where he was, among other things, captain of the city armed forces and then auditor and captain of the Schweinfurt Landwehr battalion.
