Karl Feige (actor)
Karl Feige ( October 3, 1780 in Neubrandenburg - May 12, 1862 in Kassel ) was a German theater actor , theater director , dramaturge and theater manager .
Life
Feige worked at the court theater in Kassel from 1814 to 1821 in the field of low comedy. Before that, he was with the Döbbelin Society and three years at the Court Theater in Wiesbaden. In 1821 he was appointed general director in Kassel. He directed the court theater under extremely difficult circumstances with a strict hand for a quarter of a century.
After almost 40 years of service, Feige retired with numerous awards.
He was married to the actress Karoline Koppe from 1807 .
