Karl Feldkamp

Karl Feldkamp (born August 8, 1943 in Lübeck ) is a German educator , social worker and writer .

Life

Karl Feldkamp lived in Bergisch Gladbach from 1989 to 2011 , and has lived in Engelskirchen since 2011 . He spent his childhood and youth in Lübeck. After training as an educator, he was the educational director of a children's home in Bad Oldesloe . His further professional path led through youth work and youth education in the Diocese of Osnabrück to Cologne as head of the Kolping Society's youth department . He continued his career as a social worker and street worker for homeless children and young people at Cologne Central Station . He then worked in the family counseling service of the city of Cologne. Since 1990 he has worked as a supervisor in schools and socio-educational institutions.

He is particularly interested in writing. He is the author of short stories , satires , essays , poems and radio plays . Together with Jochen Schimmang , Feldkamp founded the so-called authors' group K 60 in 1979 , in which texts were read and criticized.

Memberships

Karl Feldkamp is a member of the Association of German Writers . He is also a founding member of “Wort & Kunst eV” in Bergisch Gladbach.
