Karl Flödl

Karl Flödl (born February 10, 1900 in Vienna ; † May 15, 1968 ibid) was an Austrian typesetter and politician ( ÖVP ) as well as an official city councilor in Vienna.

From 1923 Flödl was chairman of the central association of graphic workers and in 1934 he was chairman of the union of workers in the graphic and paper processing industry. From 1935 Flödl was a member of the Federal Economic Council and the Bundestag and was the owner of a printing company.

After the Second World War, Flödl co-founded the Austrian Workers and Employees' Association in 1945 and became its managing chairman in 1946. Between February 14, 1946 and March 23, 1949 Flödl held the function of the city councilor for economic affairs in the state government of Körner II . After his death, Flödl was buried in the Hietzingen cemetery .
