Karl Friedrich Droste zu Senden (* 1750 ; † 1800 ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and canon in Münster .

Life

Karl Friedrich Droste zu Senden came from the Westphalian noble family Droste zu Senden. He was the son of Franz Moritz Arnold Droste zu Senden and his wife Mechthild Eleonroa von Ledebur zu Wichel and Perutz . His brother Clemens August was a canon in Münster. His uncle Christoph Balduin von Ledebur zu Wichel and Perutz was also canon in Münster. Karl Friedrich studied at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . He married Theresia von Twickel zu Havixbeck, daughter of Clemens August von Twickel, and after the death of his wife in 1789 decided to pursue a clerical profession. At his request, Elector Maximilian Franz transferred the cathedral praise of Münster , which had become free through the death of his uncle Christoph . He was sworn up on March 23, 1789 . Karl Friedrich was a subdeacon .
