Clemens August Droste zu Senden (* 1745 - 23 July 1772 ) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Clemens August Droste zu Senden came from the Westphalian noble family Droste zu Senden. He was the son of Franz Moritz Arnold Droste zu Senden and his wife Mechthild Eleonroa von Ledebur zu Wichel and Perutz . His brother Karl Friedrich was a canon in Münster. In 1759, Clemens August came into the possession of a cathedral priest in Münster through the renunciation of his great uncle Johann Karl Droste to Senden . In 1762, the year the Prince-Bishop was elected , he renounced his benefices in favor of his uncle Christoph Balduin von Ledebur zu Wichel and Perutz .
