Karl Gröppel
Karl Gröppel (born March 11, 1883 in Beuthen , Upper Silesia ; died July 4, 1967 in Bochum ) was a German entrepreneur and art collector .
After the death of his father Franz Gröppel, Gröppel took over the machine works Fr. Gröppel, C. Lührigs Nachf. , Which was taken over by Westfalia-Dinnendahl AG in 1930 . He became the technical director. His art collection was later acquired by the Dortmund Museum Ostwall and shown for the first time in 1958.
