Karl Haueter

Karl Haueter (born August 3, 1868 in Boltigen , † June 16, 1935 in Spiez ) was a Swiss cattle breeder.

Life

Haueter spent his childhood in Boltigen and Zweisimmen . After finishing secondary school, he first completed a French year and then spent further time in America.

After his return, he took over his father's farm in Zweisimmen and was able to develop it into an important export company to America. He was considered an expert in Simmental breeding .

The street in Zweisimmen where the retirement home and the Zweisimmen hospital are located is named after him .
