Karl Heinrich (politician, 1822)

Karl Heinrich (born November 8, 1822 in Leipzig , † October 23, 1890 in Borna ) was a German lawyer and conservative politician . He was a member of both chambers of the Saxon state parliament and a member of the Reichstag .

Live and act

Heinrich was born in Leipzig, where his father worked as a lawyer. He attended the Princely School Grimma from 1837 to 1843 , after which he studied law at the University of Leipzig . In 1843 he became a member of the Corps Misnia Leipzig . After he had successfully completed this in 1847, he took up his first job as an accessist in Leipzig and then worked from 1848 to 1851 as an unskilled worker for various lawyers. In 1851 he became an actuary in Leipzig and finally in 1853 a lawyer in Borna. At the same time he was elected mayor there.

From 1866 to 1868 he was a representative of the 1st urban constituency and from 1869 to 1861 as a representative of the 12th urban constituency, a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament. From January 1877 to July 1878 he was a member of the Reichstag for the 14th Saxon constituency. He was one of the founding members of the Conservative State Association in Saxony . In 1879 he was appointed by King Albert as one of the eight magistrates in the first chamber of the Saxon state parliament. He belonged to this until his death.
