Karl Heinz Nolzen

Karl Heinz Nolzen (born September 3, 1926 in Hagen ; † August 25, 2012 ) was a German politician and former member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament of the SPD .

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed a commercial apprenticeship and was again employed as a commercial clerk after his military service . In 1969 he became managing director of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt in Hagen.

Nolzen joined the SPD in 1952. He was active in numerous bodies of the party, such as B. as a member of the subdistrict board of Hagen-Ennepe-Ruhr. From 1948 to 1959 he was a member of IG Metall and since 1959 a member of the public services, transport and traffic union .

From July 26, 1970 to May 29, 1985 Nolzen was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituencies 123 and 119 Hagen I, respectively.

He was a member of the city council of Hagen from 1955 to 1970.
