Karl Heinz Schneider (judge)

Karl Heinz Schneider (born July 15, 1916 ; died November 26, 1971 ) was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Schneider joined the judicial service of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate on February 1, 1951 as a court assessor in the district of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse . Since June 1, 1953, he was a district judge at the Edenkoben district court . and subsequently district judge at the Landau district court in the Palatinate . On June 1, 1960 he was appointed to the higher regional judge at the then higher regional court Neustadt an der Weinstrasse (now Palatinate higher regional court Zweibrücken ). After working at the Ministry of Justice in Rhineland-Palatinate , after his election as federal judge on February 20, 1963, he joined the Ia civil senate that emerged at the beginning of the year from the division of the previous I. Civil Senate , which was then commonly referred to as the Patent Senate and which became March 1, 1968 was given the designation X. Civil Senate. He belonged to this until his death, which occurred after a suicide attempt on the way to medical care.
