Karl Hermann (born October 8, 1886 in Ludwigsburg , † March 18, 1933 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( DDP , WP ).

Life and work

After school and his first job, Hermann attended state courses for notary candidates in 1908/09 and passed the notarial examination in 1909. He then worked as a notary trainee for two years. From 1911 to 1922 he was managing director of the Reutlingen Chamber of Crafts . In 1918 he was also appointed to the Provisional Reich Economic Council. In 1922 he moved to the German Chamber of Crafts and Commerce as Secretary General .

Political party

Hermann was initially a member of the DDP . In the 1920s he left this and joined the Reichspartei des Deutschen Mittelstandes (Economic Party ).

MP

Hermann was a member of the Weimar National Assembly in 1919/20 . In contrast to the majority of his party, he voted on June 22, 1919 in the National Assembly for the acceptance of the Versailles Treaty . In February 1922 he moved up to the Reichstag of the Weimar Republic , but resigned his seat in March of the same year. From 1930 to 1932 he was again a member of the Reichstag . From 1925 to 1933 he was a member of the state parliament in Baden .
