Karl Hermann Pahncke

Karl Hermann Pahncke , also Carl Pahncke (born October 27, 1850 in Serams on Rügen , † January 19, 1912 ) was a German Protestant clergyman and author.

Life

Pahncke studied Protestant theology at the universities of Berlin and Halle / Saale from 1874 to 1877 . He worked as a pastor in Zöschen near Merseburg , Darmstadt and from 1892 at the Kreuzkirche in Bonn . In 1900 he was appointed professor and spiritual inspector of the royal state school in Pforta .

He was married to Helene, b. Beyschlag, a daughter of Willibald Beyschlag . Robert Pahncke was a son of the couple.
