Karl Hoffmann was a German soccer player .

Career

The middle and outer runner Karl Hoffmann, who was popularly known as Bärentreiber , first played for Hannover 96 . On March 9, 1930 won Hoffmann with the North German selection by a 2: 0 victory over Brandenburg the German Cup . In the summer of the same year Hoffmann moved to VfB 03 Bielefeld , with whom he was West German runner-up. In the final round of the German championship , the Bielefeld failed in the first round to Hertha BSC .
