Career
Jäger belonged to 1. FC Pforzheim as a midfielder , for whom he played point games in the 1905/06 season in the championship organized by the Association of South German Football Associations in the Gau Mittelbaden. During this season he won three titles with the team; after the Gau championship followed the southern district championship and the southern German championship , which was won by the 5: 3 victory on April 25, 1906 against the northern district champion 1. Hanau football club 1893 . To qualify as a participant in the finals for the German championship , he played all three finals. First he made his debut on May 6, 1906 in Mannheim in the 4: 2 win n.V. in the quarterfinals over Cologne FC 1899 , then he played on May 20, 1907 in Braunschweig in the 4: 0 semi-final victory over the BTuFC Union 92 from Berlin and the final against VfB Leipzig on May 27, 1906 in Nuremberg , which was lost 2-1.
