Karl Kälin (clergyman)
Karl Kälin ; also: Carl Kälin ; (* May 5, 1870 in Einsiedeln ; † January 1, 1950 in Basel ) was a Swiss priest and writer .
Life
Karl Kälin was the son of the writer Eduard Kälin. He joined the Jesuit order and was ordained priest in 1901 . Kälin worked as a pastor in various parishes in Switzerland . In addition, he was a member of the editorial team of the magazine Die Catholic Missionen . Kälin was the author of narrative works about the Catholic mission and translated from English .
