Karl Knoll (politician)

Karl Wilhelm Gustav Theodor Knoll (born December 23, 1864 in Waldeck , † May 31, 1921 in Arolsen ) was a German pastor and politician .

Knoll was the son of the school teacher Christian Knoll and his wife Caroline nee Döhne. He married Louise Engel. Knoll studied theology and was a private teacher in Wegeleben from 1891 to 1892 before becoming a pastor in Ober-Waroldern from 1893 to 1899 . From 1899 to 1908 he was pastor in Twiste . From 1908 to 1918 he was court preacher and school councilor. From 1914 to 1919 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont for the constituency of the Twiste district .
