Karl Kopp (born March 18, 1919 ; † unknown) was a German football player who was active for the Munich clubs TSV 1860 , FC Bayern and FC Wacker between 1940 and 1950 in three leagues and two divisions.

Career

At the age of 21, Kopp belonged to the first team of TSV 1860 Munich, for which he was used in the Bavarian sports class from 1940 to 1941 . At the end of its inaugural season in the senior division, TSV 1860 Munich won the championship of the Bavarian sports class in 1940/41 and was therefore also qualified as a participant in the final round of the German football championship 1940/41 . In it he came only once on May 11, 1941, in a 2-1 victory on the Hanns-Braun urban arena against the Stuttgarter Kickers .

After the game was stopped in the last years of World War II , he came for FC Bayern Munich in 24 league games in the first season 1945/46 in the then top German division Oberliga Süd and scored three goals. He made his debut on December 16, 1945 (7th matchday) in a 5-3 win in the away game against Phoenix Karlsruhe ; he scored his first goal on April 28, 1946 (23rd matchday) in a 2-2 draw at local rivals TSV 1860 Munich . In the following season he scored five goals in 30 league games. In 1947/48 he played 35 of 38 point games, most of them within one season; also here he was successful with three goals. In his last season for Bayern , he only played one league game.

He played the last season of his footballing career for FC Wacker Munich in what was then the second-class Bavarian state league .
