Karl Kröger (politician)

Karl Kröger (born April 18, 1901 in Obernbeck ; † June 22, 1970 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , Kröger worked as a cigar worker , miner and lathe operator. Kröger had been a member of the SPD since 1920 and the union since 1919. He was active in various party bodies.

From July 13, 1954 to July 23, 1966, Kröger was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 142 Herford-Land-Ost. At times, he was a member of the municipal council of the municipality Obernbeck and a member of the official representative of the Office of wages .
