Karl Krichbaum

Karl Krichbaum (born November 23, 1899 in Betzdorf ; † October 10, 1971 in Bad Münster am Stein ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

He was the son of the businessman Georg Krichbaum. After attending elementary school in Betzdorf, Krichbaum was trained at the Kulturbauschule in Siegen from 1914 to 1923. His training was interrupted between 1916 and 1919 when he took part in the First World War . Krichbaum finally completed his training in 1923 with the cultural building technician exam. He then worked from 1923 to 1933 at the Prussian Cultural Building Office in Hagen . During this time in 1927 he passed the state examination to become a master builder.

After Krichbaum had already participated in the border guard in Upper Silesia with the Freikorps Rossbach in 1921 , he was involved in the National Socialist Storm Department (SA) from 1923 to 1925 . In 1928 he joined the NSDAP.

In 1933 Krichbaum took over the post of labor leader for Westphalia-South in the Reich Labor Service (RAD) of the NSDAP.

In July 1934, Krichbaum came after replacement for the in the Rohm affair shot SA leader Hans Ramshorn in the Reichstag one, where he remained until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945th He first represented constituency 9 (Opole) and later constituency 18 (Westphalia South). Krichbaum became general labor manager at the RAD in 1943.
