Karl Linzen
Karl Linzen (born July 14, 1874 in Weimar , Thuringia ; † March 16, 1939 there ) was a German writer and lawyer.
Life
Linzen completed school in his hometown. He then studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin to study law , which he successfully with his 1911 dissertation completed. Then he went back to Weimar and settled there as a lawyer . On July 9, 1928, Linzen married Katharine Elisabeth Helene Keie in Bozen .
According to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Weimar, a merchant named Anton Linzen was the owner of Richard Keie, a leather shop in Weimar at 22 Bismarckstrasse (now Schubertstrasse).
In addition to his professional work as a lawyer, many literary works came into being over the years - mostly short stories and novels - which, despite short-term success and praise from official literary criticism, were unable to impress audiences in the long term.
At the age of almost 65, Karl Linzen died on March 16, 1939 in Weimar, where he found his final resting place.
