Karl Lorch

Karl Lorch (born August 13, 1907 in Nassau an der Lahn ; † June 26, 1940 in Saarbrücken ) was a member of the Nazi storm department , most recently SA brigade leader , and from 1933 to 1940 district administrator ( NSDAP ) of the Oberwesterwaldkreis .

Life

As a student in Cologne and Frankfurt , Lorch was active in the National Socialist German Student Union from 1927 . As a staunch supporter of Hitler , he broke off his studies in 1930 in order to put himself fully into the service of the SA , in which he quickly advanced as an organizer and speaker. He became leader of the SA Standard 365 and finally brigade leader of the SA Brigade 52.

On September 8, 1933, he was appointed representative and provisional on January 16, 1934 as district administrator of the Oberwesterwaldkreis. His final appointment was on March 27, 1934. Lorch was also deputy head of the sports office of the National Socialist organization Kraft durch Freude .

During the Second World War he was seriously wounded as a lieutenant in the attack on France on June 19, 1940 near Lunéville . He died on June 26, 1940 as a result of the wounded in the Saarbrücken reserve hospital .
