Karl Nuber

Karl Nuber (* 1932 ; † November 5, 2008 ) was a German manager. For 30 years he headed the Oberland-Milchverwertung Ravensburg GmbH (Omira) in Ravensburg .

Career

Nuber joined Oberland-Milchverwertung Ravensburg GmbH in 1961 and headed the Omira group of companies from 1971 until he left in 2001, one of the largest milk processors in Baden-Württemberg with more than 4,500 milk suppliers.

Nuber received high awards for his commitment to the well-being of the agricultural and dairy industry. In 1986 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon , in 1989 the Badge of Honor of the State of Baden-Württemberg , in short the State Badge of Honor , "for services in the honorary office of Baden-Württemberg" and in 2001 the State Medal in Gold of the State of Baden-Württemberg "for outstanding services to the rural area, food, agriculture and forest ".

Since 1953 he was a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. Carolingia Hohenheim. Nuber, who held a PhD, died on November 5, 2008 at the age of 76.
