Karl Oderich
Karl Oderich (* 1856 Hagenow ; † 1915 Hamburg ) was a German history, portrait and landscape painter.
Oderich studied at the art academy in Karlsruhe with Adolf Des Coudres and Karl Gussow and in Berlin with Friedrich Schaper , and in Vienna as a master student with Hans Makart . He spent the years 1886 and 1887 in Egypt .
He then worked as a portraitist in Vienna and from 1894 in Hamburg . Karl Oderich was a member of the Hamburg artists' association .
