Karl Riedrich
Karl Riedrich (born May 24, 1926 ) is a former German soccer player. In 1951/52 he was part of the master team of the BSG Turbine Halle .
Athletic career
When the Betriebssportgemeinschaft (BSG) Turbine Halle won the GDR soccer championship in the 1951/52 season, 22 players were involved, including 25-year-old Karl Riedrich. However, he was only involved in the championship success with an 18-minute deployment on the fourth from last game day as a substitute. In the season 1952/53 Riedrich was only used in the reserve team. In October 1953 Halles new coach Gerhard glasses gave Riedrich a chance as a midfielder in three games. Riedrich could not prevail against Horst Ebert . After four league appearances, Riedrich's career in high-class football was over.
