Karl Rieser

Karl Rieser (born November 18, 1902 in Birlenbach ; † October 18, 1957 ) was a Hessian politician ( CSVD , CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Karl Rieser studied after attending primary school and high school at the University of Frankfurt am Main. After completing his studies, he worked as a state-certified teacher in shorthand, then for many years in commercial and industrial companies and from 1936 as a commercial teacher. In 1937 he was dismissed by the National Socialists, and in 1938 he was employed again. Subsequently he was persecuted and disciplined by the Nazis. From 1942 to 1945 he participated in the war. From 1946 he was head of the Friedberg commercial college.

Before 1933, Karl Rieser was active in the Christian Social People's Service. After the Second World War he joined the CDU. For his party, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament from December 1, 1946 to November 30, 1950, and a member of the 1st Federal Assembly in 1949 .
